So I'm open for ideas/suggestions, if any. Does 40" even matter? Can't seem to find enough data/youtube videos reviewing performance of antennas.unless I missed it. My concern with the Peplink is that it would have to be mounted directly above the platform rack and I lose the reception height compared to the weBoost. Where I'm stuck is combining the two costs just as much as a Peplink Mobility 22G which includes two cell, two wifi and a single gps antenna in one. I'd need two since the cell router is 2x2 mimo. The antenna I'm looking at is weBoost Drive OTR Antenna (311229). It can also rise up to 40" above which could help with reception (I'm assuming higher the better?). WeBoost's OTR antenna looks to be the most simplistic and easiest to setup especially if I add articulation so that it can be folded down during transit and propped vertically when stationary. I see a lot of external antenna solutions for RVs but am looking for one that would fit well with a platform rack.
